Big news in this blog folks!  Announcing the official poster for Project 30-90, designed by JP and Fleurty GirlI Heart Nola shows some love! Read on!!

So yes, I'm incredibly bummed about Noel Gallagher leaving Oasis.  But to help cure the blues, I've got some good stuff to share!

PROJECT 30-90 FESTIVAL POSTERS!

LIMITED EDITION, NUMBERED AND SIGNED! Click image to see larger.

With the help of our partners and wonderful folk at Fleurty Girl, we've designed the official poster for Project 30-90, New Orleans' first ever green music festival.  The poster measures 13"x19", features the names of all the performers, and was printed locally on 100% recycled paper.

These are limited edition posters!

Only 150 are being made available for purchase.  All 150 will be numbered and signed by the artist, and all for the low cost of $10.  They can be ordered online at www.fleurtygirl.net or purchased at the festival.  Whether online or in person, they will be in a recycled cardboard poster tube, preventing and damage to your poster.

Get one while you can, cuz when they're gone, they're gone!

In other big news, the fine folks over at www.IHeartNOLA.com are running a really nice piece about me and my art.  They've said some really nice things about me, my work, my family, and my wife's baked ziti.  They've also got some great looking pictures, so please give that a read.  Check out some of their past pieces as well.  I'm honored to be a part of "Coolhunting in New Orleans."

So much going on right now folks.  Should have pictures of the first FGxJP shirt in the next few days, and they'll be available first at the Project 30-90 fest.  They'll also be available to order and at the Storyville Apparel shop on Magazine St.  Keep your eyes peeled!!

Til next time,

JP

Announcing FGxJP & Project 30_90 News!!

Ok, so here’s the news I’ve been waiting to announce!!!!!

I’m so excited to announce that I’m teaming up with New Orleans’ newest and hottest clothing designer, Fleurty Girl, to produce a line called “FGxJP” (Fleurty Girl by JP)!

Fleurty Girl, known for their shirts that feature bits of quintessential New Orleans’ culture, will be reaching out into a new visual realm.  Together, we’ll be using my artwork to produce a new line of shirts that we feel will represent the vitality and rhythm of New Orleans.

The other part of the news, is that we will be debuting the shirt in our artist booths at the upcoming Project 30_90 Festival, September 5th in New Orleans.  Project 30_90 is anenvironmentally conscious music festival, with stages being run on solar power and wind turbines.  And in keeping with the mission of 30_90, the shirts are being printed on organic cotton American Apparel shirts.

The shirts will be available for purchase through WWW.FLEURTYGIRL.NET, and also at Storyville Apparel on Magazine St. in New Orleans.  There will also be a link on my site here to buy, that will take you to the FG website.

We are so excited about this new line, and can’t wait to see what the future brings.  Here’s to FGxJP!  Spread the word!!
